I am retired from 39 years in the automotive repair business with six locations and 53 employees. Throughout the years I’ve used a handful of accountants book keepers and CPAs. Recently I found myself in a huge IRS debt and was running out of time to file. After calling a dozen of tax consultants and getting turned down due to the lack of time to file, I came across the phone number of CPA services in Beaverton and actually was able to talk to a real person which turned out to be Cameron, the owner.Cameron took control immediately and not only got me out of a huge tax debt but I received a refund. Cameron came through for my spouse and me in unbelievable time. We called in the morning, explaining our plight, and he squeezed us in 4 pm that evening. Furthermore he had finished with our tax problem less than 2 hours later while we went out to dinner nearby. He gave fantastic advice, first suggesting a course of action that we might take ourselves which would have been free - which would have meant he wouldnt make any money, and then a second time, after we had decided to hire him, he went above and beyond informing (unbeknownst to us) of a tax kicker we were eligible for. The benefit of a privately owned business is that they can tailor their services to you, as opposed to a corporate business which is bound by a lot of rules both legal and otherwise. A corporate entity generally speaking requires you to confirm to their services, but private, again generally speaking conforms to your needs. And then there is no guarantee a private business is any good at it - thankfully this one is. We would absolutely have not gotten as good a treatment from a corporate entity that we received from Cameron. On top of it all, he asked us about our story and we got to know one another personally, sharing mutual sympathies as it turned out we had similar plights (green cards for loved ones). I sponsoring my spouse, he sponsoring his family. I CANNOT recommend him enough. He is very clever, very personable, very hardworking, and very honest. It was without a doubt, hands down, bar none: the best experience I have ever had dealing with taxes, the IRS, and my finances.
