Ted did a great job on our taxes; the issue was when asked to send a copy (pdf) of our returns I was sent a bill for a return he has already in pdf. $50.00 bill? Seriously? For something that you are required to keep a digital file of. And yes, we have a copy somewhere at home in storage! If they had not been stapled and glued together in a binder, they could have been easily scanned in when I brought them home. But as I said you already had a digital copy that could have been sent over with little to no effort. I apologize for asking my CPA who I just paid to do our taxes for advice on something that could have been answered at your leisure. Might I also add I never indicated it was a need right now kind of thing, and you had it easily accessible document. I wouldn't have even asked but I was unable to locate them. I get it, people have bad days, but this response was out of line! Had you said in your email, I will have to charge you for someone to pull the needed info I may have been more inclined to just pay that especially knowing you are busy. I am shocked at this type of response to a consumer. Especially one who just paid you in excess of 1,200.00to do the returns. I will be referring all clients somewhere else in the future.

I have never had a more unprofessional experience in my life! These people do whatever they want when it comes to time lines and communication; they are lacking! I've been getting my taxes done for two decades in many different states, and these people don't have a clue what they are doing! Don't make the mistake I did that just because they have a nice building and location that they are professional; It's the very opposite!

I've used Ted's office for many years, and I've been more than happy with the knowledge and service that they provide. I use them for personal and business. If you need a TEAM of professionals that actually knows the "ins and outs" of tax/financial planning, the this group is worth a visit. With Weber's you don't simply get the once a year "rubber stamp style" tax form filler, you get a relationship that is pledged to see your success over the coming years.

Absolutely would not use this business for your tax needs! Past 5 years we had to pay the IRS $5000+ a year, finally decided to get a second opinion and the IRS owed me! I not only paid $500 per year for their services but now I get to pay someone who knows what they are doing another $500 per year that Ted Weber, CPA screwed up!

Moved here few years ago. First year used CPA down the street. Outrageous fee. Mistakes on both state and federal returns cost me penalties on both. No apology or offer to reimburse. To be fair errors were not on tax prep but on filing. Used Ted last 2 years. The entire staff have been a pleasure to work with. Went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. In response to negative reviews. Sometimes what goes round comes round. God bless us all through the coming year. Prayers for all those who have lost a loved one.

Cheri and Ted do a great job on our taxes. Front desk is very rude and both ladies likes to argue.

Ted and Cheri have taken care of my return since I started filing. Now my husband and I have a farm and they've helped guide us through the financial side of agriculture. I've never had issues with any of the staff or Ted or Cheri. The other reviews seem either blown out of proportion or just wrong in general. Remember, there are always two sides to a story.

I think the people giving bad reviews are nuts. I've been using Ted Weber for years, always professional, helpful, kind. I would never take my taxes anywhere else. I saw these reviews, I just had to shake my head. Really, you guys grow up!!!!! You get what you pay for, and I get superior service. Thank You Ted!!!!

I'm not sure how these guys are still in business. They charge too much and their bedside manner is just awful. I started a business and made an appointment to discuss related business tax issues. The appointment i made was with Ted, but some other lady held the meeting with me. She started deferring questions about business taxes to Ted, saying "Ted would need to answer that particular question" and mentioned that she's NEVER dealt with business taxes before. When I got the bill, I very politely challenged this charge for obvious reasons and the lady became extremely defensive. She also mentioned that the charge had been "discounted" from her usual hourly rate, which apparently was true. But I had zero confidence in anything she said during that meeting. She was incredibly defensive and uncooperative and I was just wanted off the phone with her so I agreed to pay the charges. Strangely, that's when she agreed to remove the charge. Additional note: her hourly rate was exactly the same as Teds So i paid and we will just finder a more reasonable priced cpa who does not hire people with attitudes shouldn"t be hard to find. EDIT AFTER OWNER'S RESPONSE: Here's the order of events: we had an hour long meeting (not an hour and a half). She charged half of her usual hourly fee. I politely contested that discounted fee as she admitted it was not her area of expertise. She was way more defensive than should have been normal. I gave up the fight and said, "it isn't worth it. Just leave the charges." That's when she did indeed agree to remove the charges. Anyway, the owner is going to dispute this story as much as she disputed it over the phone. But it's really simple. They charge too much. They have a terrible bedside manner. And it's just too easy to find a cheaper, five star CPA that is really nice and knows what they're doing (as I have already done and i encourage everyone to do). Also, it's worth noting that I had already prepared the taxes to begin with. We simply asked for them to review the taxes and you wouldn't believe what they charge. I mean.... I might as well just warn everyone. The fee we were asked to pay was about $400. And this did not include schedule C as I only started my business this year. I'm sorry that the owner is confused why we were "polite in person" but not in this review. But I feel that this review is polite and it honestly gives the owner some much needed feedback. I would consider this free business advice and seriously work on your customer service.
