My husband had me drop off our W-2’s to Pam from Alamance Bookkeeping Services in February or March (we had them to her well before April 15th.) so she could file our taxes. That was 8 MONTHS AGO and we still have NOT received our tax return. After multiple phone calls here and there for an update on the status of our tax return she mentioned that she would do an extension because there was other things she could do with our taxes to get us in a better spot since my husband had started a business last year in September 2022. My husband had only been in business for five months when we gave our W-2’s to her so I cannot imagine what would be taking so long to file our taxes. At this point, I don’t know what to do because our taxes are late and have not been filed currently and we are still waiting for our tax return back. And there has been almost ZERO communication on her end. Do not use this woman if you want your tax return to be filed in a timely matter. Do not use this woman’s services for anything tax or bookkeeping related. It does not take eight months to file anyone’s tax return. At this point, I don’t know if fraud is involved or just incompetence on her end.
