I'm a first time client. The reviews were spot on. Debbie was very personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She went over every document with us. I'm very pleased with their fees. Our last tax preparer charged DOUBLE, and took months to prepare a simple tax return. Debbie took one week!!! We're customers for LIFE!!!!

Debbie is absolutely fantastic. She is always so quick and so thorough with everything. We came to her back in 2022 to file 2021 taxes. She reviewed our 2020 taxes and saw an error (after we had filed them ourselves) and was able to do an amendment and brought us back over $6k! She has also helped me set up my small business - getting registered, licensed, tax id, the whole 9-yards. I went in yesterday with questions regarding submitting sales tax for my small business and she was so kind in walking me through the process. I have recommend Down South Accounting to several individuals and will continue to recommend them!

Debbie and Karen go above and beyond for their clients. I have seen first hand how harmful it can be to have a careless accountant, so trusting someone else with my taxes was no small feat. They absolutely exceeded my expectations and have helped to get my refund to me that I otherwise havent received for two years, thinking I was unable to file by anything other than the mail. They figured out why I was getting this flag and how to get it fixed. They are easy to work with and I cant imagine ever using anyone else now!

5/5. Debbie is amazing. She kept me updated throughout the whole process with my tax return. When reviewing my return before signing she took the time to explain the steps done and why they were done. I am very pleased with the outcome, the experience, and I even recommended Down South Accounting to my in laws. I will be back to her in the years to come. Also, Down South does great book keeping for businesses big and small.
