JVG have been my accountants for over ten years, both personally and for my small business. They provide helpful guidance and have always been responsive. They're a great group of professionals and I highly recommend them.

I’ve had my personal taxes(self employed) for over 14 years. I’ve started a brick & mortar and they now do my biz taxes as well as my book keeping. They stay on top of everything and keep me in the loop. Highly recommended this wonderful group of people.

Sadly, can't recommend. Staff are VERY friendly but also straight-up ghosted me as a client with no rationale, causing not-insignificant tax penalties for missing a deadline. Really hate to say it because the folks here are so nice, but I cannot recommend trusting them with your taxes or books. UPDATE - I have a record of doing business with the firm and have sent this to them. They did not respond.

Excellent accounting firm. Answer all my questions in a timely manner.Very friendly. Work done accurately and promptly. Even though we left Asheville 9 years ago, we still have them do our taxes. We have been with them for 15+ years!

Can't say enough good things about this company. They were all very professional, knowledgeable, quick to respond, and prepared for every meeting/conversation. They are a well-oiled machine and I would recommend to any business owners or individuals. We have worked with other tax professionals in the past, and JVG is truly a step above the rest. They have a teachers-heart and not only thoroughly process your taxes, etc, but they teach you how to maximize every avenue, and explain why. We worked primarily Heather Cohen and she was absolutely amazing.
