I reached out to Capital CFO to help with the book keeping for my small non profit organization. We re-train and re-home race horses when they are no longer able to compete on the race track. While in our care these horses participate in programs helping veterans and people in need of healing through trauma and domestic violence. The team at CFO helped us get on our feet with our book keeping, and then doubled their fee, well knowing by our financials that we were not in a position to afford what they were asking. They claim to be helping non profits but they messed up a lot of our financial info and then asked for double the fee. Not sure where they think they’re helping.

I started a business because I was good at the thing I was good at. My strengths do not extend to bookkeeping and financial organization and I've come to terms with that. For many years I tried finding an individual who could pitch in here or there to help me out. While it worked well enough for tax purposes I never considered my books a reliable source of information to operate my business on. When I hired Capital CFO, I felt like they couldn't sleep until they had my books ordered and segmented. For the first time in my 15 years in business can open quickbooks and see exactly where my business stands. I fully rely on the data they have been organized in a way that allows my to extract useful information. That is a popwerful feeling for a small business owner. They are responsive and "on it" at every turn. I had been afraid I couldn't afford this level of support but they have always worked within my budget, and I feel a good value for the work provided. It's also nice to know that I can tap the CFO expertise (monthly if I choose) to see if there is anything I'm missing. I have suggested Capital CFO to friends and family.
