James did my taxes - he was very nice and helpful at our initial meeting, although he submitted my taxes under the wrong address. I never received my tax refunds due to his mistake. To “resolve” the problem, he sent me the IRS’s phone number and NYS’s phone number and was given a short “apologies about the address mixup!” The lack of attention to detail and inconsideration for his client has turned me away from going to Walquist & Renodin ever again.

My experience with CPA James Alund Jr. was deeply disappointing. After just one phone conversation regarding my annual expenses, Mr. Alund falsely accused me of requesting inflated expenses, insinuating potential tax fraud on my part. To clarify, I never made any such request. What truly alarmed me, however, was his disregard for client confidentiality. Our conversation, which should have remained private, was shared with others, breaching the trust that should exist between a client and their accountant. I would advise anyone considering James Alund Jr. as their CPA to exercise caution. His misrepresentation of our discussion and the breach of client confidentiality are serious concerns that deserve attention.
