Terrible experience. They completely botched my taxes . So much so that I'm STILL paying off debts the state AND Federal taxes. I received letters from both the state and federal saying due to a previous audit (2022 tax year done by Martin) THIS years' refund is being reapplied to 2022. Unbelievable! The new company I used showed me where Martin made the errors. Seemed really simple to me. You pay hundreds for a tax preparer. At the very least, you should not get re audited from their terrible service.

Word of warning to those using Martin to file 2023 returns. They sent a letter basically stating that due to rising costs, they are adjusting their pricing. According to the letter, the adjustment would be approximately 20% for returns, with some additional fees added for different in person reviews. I thought no big deal, inflation is affecting everyone, so I dropped off my W2. When my return was complete, they charged me 50% more than last year for a single federal and state return. No issues with the the staff, they're really nice, but if you're considering Martin this year, especially if your a returning customer, ask up front about their tax prep fees.

Kristen went above and beyond with my taxes! She was thorough and took the time so I received the tax credits I needed! She’s very polite and clearly knows what she’s doing. I loved working with her and look forward to working with her again next year, she made it a breeze!

Ashley at Martin Tax is the best! Quick turnaround time and was able to answer all of my questions and thoroughly explain the answers, so I could understand. I appreciate her patience and timeliness so much! Such a huge weight lifted off my shoulders :)
