We hired this firm 5 years ago. We were clear in our meeting what services we were looking for as a growing small business who had never used a CPA previously. This CPA is good if you want an order taker service but I can't recomend them beyond that. They messed up our shareholder worksheet pretty badly this year and did not think it was a big deal. The receptionist even told me "it's easy you can do it yourself" umm no I am not a CPA and I paid to have my taxes prepaired accuratly. This had dropped my confidence in accuracy with them. The reason for the 2 stars vs 3 I would have given is for the lack of care in getting my company files to me after parting ways. It took weeks to get our information and the communication was poor. They then actually lost a USB file with ALL my companies data on it! They did not send signature needed just regular old mail, in fact when I showed up she stated that it commonly happens! If this happens enough for you to say that why would you not simply charge the $15 it takes via UPS to have signature next day, if client declines sure snail mail it. If you looking to use them I would simply get quickbooks and do yourself. They did not provide anything to us that I couldn't have had using quickbooks myself, and again we asked for advisory for our business when we first met Bob.

With owning a local business, we needed help filing not only business but personal taxes. We highly recommend Robert Murphey. Bob and staff are organized, efficient, and very pleasant to work with. We used to have our taxes prepared by a very large organization and appreciate the personal attention to detail we receive from Bob's office especially when we have questions.
