I was recommended to this company by a friend, but I was really disappointed from my phone call this morning. From the moment she answered the phone, I was met with disrespect. When I mentioned that I was looking for a CPA for my taxes, the receptionist immediately said "we start at $1,000 for regular taxes do you still want to continue" then proceeded to tell me that it will take so long and the process isn't easy (which is fine to me) but It seemed like she was trying her best to turn me away. I was then transferred to Leah, Joe's assistant, who's attitude was discouraging that I'm actually relieved I won't be doing business with them.

Joe and his team were fantastic! We switched from a different CPA and I could not be happier with the ease of preparing our taxes this year. I highly recommend Angell & Company!

I can only speak as to my dealings with Joe, but after we provided him with our income taxes and the sale of home and purchase of our new home documentation, he failed to report the sale of our home. When the IRS reached out to us a year later, I brought it Joe’s attention, and was charged again for him to fix his original error.

Complete lack of professionalism.. Used this company for the first time based on referral..will be the last time!! Had an appointment...took time off work.drove over an hour to get there..was told he wasn’t in..no call..no offer to have us meet with someone else til we asked to do so!! Should have been our first impression to leave. Zero communication till time of payment.. One of our first questions was what are your Fees..which was not answered at That meeting..would get back to us! Ridiculously high prices especially for two of our three tax preparations..inquired about discount for three separate family members..never called with price! Asked ONE specific question..given WRONG information which resulted in my son not getting a stimulus check..called to inquire and given excuse after excuse...own your mistake and do something to rectify it!! Negative Professionalism
