I have worked with Mark Gianno and staff during tax season for the past five years. They have always been professional and thorough with my filings, which is important since I have a rather complicated tax return. Mark is extremely knowledgable with local tax laws and new developments in the world of tax planning. I know they will do an excellent job with very little hassle on my part so I continue to return to him every year, and highly recommend Gianno & Freda to anyone new to the area or looking for a reliable tax service provider. :)

Worst business and complete scam, a huge waste of time and money. They promise to take care of the issue on an agreed upon price, then they charge you way more for the work without ever solving the problem! It gets worse though, Mark will keep sending you bills for services you did not agree to! I went to his office to address this and I made it clear to not to render any services without my expressed permission and then charge me for something I didn’t ask for. He promised not to do that anymore and we shook hands on it. I reluctantly wrote him one last check to pay my final bill expecting to never hear from them again….. just a couple months later he sends me another bill for no reason! I’m not giving you another cent. I paid thousands and you did not even solve my tax problem, I am still dealing with the state! But you want to bill me again for that right? I’m sorry I made the mistake trusting these guys with my business, don’t make the same mistake!

Stay away, while Mark's professionalism doesn't concern me, his personal issues will no longer allow me to be his client. There's no business ethic, gets angry, hanged up the phone, charging you for every minute of phone call, etc. VERY DISAPOINTING, but my business will go somewhere else.

If you're looking for a professional tax service for your business, where they answer the phone (themselves not an answering service) and your questions quickly and thoughtfully, then Gianno & Freda is for you. I've never had my taxes done so promptly in 9 years of doing business. It's clear they are focused on getting you the best possible outcome on your taxes by looking beyond just the current year and by understanding your business. They have been very pleasant to work with and now I look forward to having someone I can trust and wouldn't hesitate to call.
