Stay far away from this company! The bookkeeper of this company got a phishing email from someone that may have just as well been from nigeria.com. A very juvenile mistake. Checks were written in the amount of $68,000. No phone call, no email, no nothing. She just paid the fictitious bills. When asked how in the heck this could happen, the response was, “she made a mistake”. Fortunately, the first $19,000 did not go through but the other $49,000 did. There is apparently no training the employees get for this company on what a phishing email looks like. It’s hard to believe in today’s environment that is the case. We said we do not feel we should have to pay for NIB mistakes. She agreed and filed an FBI report, a Cambridge Massachusetts police report and a cyber liability claim. The cyber liability claim was denied because Numbers In Boxes was not harmed, the client was. Therefore it fell back to our cyber liability policy which like all cyber policies there is a deductible. In this case $5000. When questioned about how they’re going to make this whole relative to the $5000 their position was, we don’t believe we made a mistake. So not only are they incompetent, they are morally bankrupt. Stay far away.
