My family has been using Meservey accounting for easily five decades, probably more. When it was sold and became Steven Ellard accounting we stayed with them under the assumption Mr. Meservey would not have sold such a deeply established and successful business to someone they did not support. Turns out the service is awful, secretary’s are completely rude for no reason whatsoever, the price of an extremely easy tax return has doubled and it’s a damn shame. After five decades we have moved on and are much happier with our new tax accountant. Again, what a shame. Furthermore, when our new accountant inquired where we had done our taxes previously, I told her and she spilled the beans, letting me know that they are indeed ridiculously overpriced and Ellard himself has a reputation in the field as being particularly cold and rude. No doubt, reputations are earned.
