After having prepared my own taxes for years, I decided to utilize a professional accounting firm for 2023. FPG Tax prepared three 1041 tax returns (2 trusts and one estate), a 1040 for my deceased parent and a joint 1040 for my husband and me. David is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. Whenever there was inconsistent or missing information in the documents that I provided, David didn't hesitate to reach out for clarification to ensure he had the full picture. I was very happy with the turnaround time on all of the returns, and just as importantly, every member of the FPG team that I interacted with was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. This tax firm used to be Kauffman Nichols, CPA P.C., and is now FPG Tax and Accounting. They prepared our taxes in 2020. We were just informed this month 2024, by the State of Kansas, that an error had been made on those tax returns and we owed $813.00. This company will not stand behind errors they make on tax returns. I would never use them if I were you. I wouldn't trust this company. Could it be that's why they changed their name and moved to a new location?
