Terry started out, seeming fairly professional and organized. When I hit a snag, I was told to figure it out. I asked if we could have a meeting to find the document I was searching for together, and I was told to find a different CPA. Terry and his secretary are both very short, curt, annoyed and unprofessional while trying to get you out the door as quickly as possible. If you have tax issues or a small business, I do not recommend!!!!

totally sent me down the river without a paddle, fortunately the letter I wrote to the IRS took care of the problem and the issue was resolved. No, thanks to this CPA. Was told at consultation they would take care of the issue and when I received a letter from the IRS with a court date scheduled I contacted them, they were like, we dont do that.

I have used several CPAs in Lawrence including one of the top rated ones, and I’ve had the best experience using Terry! From filing personal taxes, amending a mistake on my part and starting my own business. Everyone on his team has been responsive and kind. I feel very fortunate to have them in my corner and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I have friends, family and co workers who would all say the same! If you are looking for a place that you can ask anything, feel educated and getting solid advice these are your people!

We have filed our taxes with Terry for 3 years now and have never had a bad experience until this last tax season. Mike with the Lawrence office had completed our return for us and was extremely unprofessional and defensive when we had general questions about the return that was completed by him. Any question I asked was followed by a short answer in a tone as if we were not allowed to have questions. There was no advice, tax strategy, or education that I received from him and the attitude he projected was unnecessary. When we called to notify the office we would not be filing with them d/t this interaction and lack of advice, Mike had answered the phone scoffing and belittling us for our decision, actually laughing with someone else in the office. It was extremely rude and unprofessional, I have never been treated as such in a business relationship in my life. It’s unfortunate because we’ve never had a problem working with Terry. If you’re looking for a great CPA service, look elsewhere.
