I wanted to hire them and I was told to drop off my paperwork, which I did. They were very busy and shooed me out the door without getting my contact information(I admit I should have asked about this). But I assumed they already had that info because my father was a client and they had met with me after my father's death. I assumed incorrectly and nearly missed tax day because of the mistake. They also refused to help me with my extension(on tax day) because they were too busy. Not very professional.

I Recently made the switch to McGowen, Hurst, Clark & Smith. I am already glad i did 3 months in. They have saved me money on my 2017 return and already have a plan in place for 2018. They are extremely detailed and knowledgeable. When you a business owner - you want a CPA firm to "partner" with you, after all they are an incredible part of your business! I have found a partner i know I can successfully grow my business with! Highly recommend Carson Messenger - true young professional with a genuine desire to help others succeed!

We have used McGowan Hurst for both our business and personal taxes. Their level of professionalism and attention to detail is excellent. They truly understand tax codes and implications along with best business practices and strategy. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an accountant either in business or personal.

McGowen, Hurst takes care of both of my business, as well as my personal taxes. Although I work mostly with Conrad Hanson and Nick Foster, I couldn't be happier with the personal attention, or their professionalism that I have had when dealing with anyone from their staff.
