They did my taxes in a timely manner and were very friendly. The problem is that they let my mother list me as a dependent, even though I had already picked up my taxes with all my information and refund amount on them, and assumed they had been filed. My mother then called me to tell me that my refund was changing because she listed me as a dependent, taking a significant amount of money from my refund. As a 25 year old who has been living on her own for 3 years with no financial support from my parents, I am not a dependent. Wagner failed to contact me to ask if I was okay with this changing, and changed it on their own. I am not sure how that works out, or is okay to do without the permission of the person who's refund it affects. When I called and asked if it could be changed back, they told me no changes could be made. Strange that they could change my information without my permission, but now they are unable to change it back. Listing me as a dependent when I am not, and not asking me first before changing it, is not an okay thing to do, and because of that I would not recommend Wagner Accounting & Tax service.

After being a customer for over 10 years, the past 2 years have been annoying, frustrating and unprofessional. Taxes went unfiled last year and this year's taxes were sent to me 4 days before they were due. My interaction with the staff is unprofessional. I'm told he made a comment, "Forget them one time..." Yes, Tom!! You forget me one time and I get concerned you will do it again. If I didn't call to keep on top of my taxes, you would have forgotten them again. Tom will only make you a priority if you're a large farm or business but if you're a freelancer or have a basic 1099 forget it. He over charges and under performed!

DO NOT RECOMMEND filing here. I had Marisa file my simple taxes. It’s been a year and I have yet to get my refund. She doesn’t return any calls or emails. I then got audited and she wouldn’t help me with that either. So if you want your taxes done right, don’t go here. She won’t respond to you & will waste your time and money. *Also with the response from Wagner below, you’re now offering to help after you have seen my review but failed to help me over the entire year when I have reached out. I called when I got audited, you had me drop my audit off… I stated many times it had a deadline to be returned and you all assured me you’d get back to me soon to help. I called weekly for over a month and was told Marisa would call me back. Here we are MONTHS later, still no retuned phone call or even email. Please don’t have your customers waste time brining paperwork to you, just for you to do absolutely nothing with it and leave us hanging. I had to complete everything on my own. Not to mention I was audited for errors made when my return was filed. I stand by my statement that I highly recommend finding elsewhere to get your taxes done*
