The Pantagraph Reader's Choice Awards rated this firm the "Best Tax Preparation Office". However when I called the firm to request to talk to someone on the need to file an estate tax return I was told the firm is not taking on any new clients. The Pantagraph should have checked with this business as well before publishing their reader choice award results.

They were totally unorganized and they take way too long before they even look at your paperwork. The owner is nasty, disrespectful and flat out rude. They don’t even use up to date software to do preparations. The whole place had a 1952 vibe.

Expensive, but very good at what they do and very easy to work with. So if you have to pay to get them done, this is the way to go.

Customer service from Chelsea and Samantha was amazing. I couldn't ask for better assistance and help through the entire process which they made it quick & easy. I will definitely use American Tax & Accounting from now on.

I can't say enough how amazing ALL of the staff at American Tax are. David is beyond knowledgeable in all areas and will meet with you to answer any question you might have. My taxes were a bit more complicated this year and he explained everything to me to make sure I understood before letting me sign them. Amazing experience! Will continue to go back year after year!

David Erwin was referred by another business and was told he was the best person for the questions I had for small business. I called the office for an appointment and/or consultation and received a warmth, professional welcome by the staff person on the other end. David prepared my taxes. The experience was excellent. David answered all my questions and was I completely satisfied! The staff was wonderful; I will recommend their service!
