Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely negative. My entire family's identities were stolen, and despite the clear breach (which I believe was due to hacking rather than intentional wrongdoing), they refused to take responsibility or provide any guidance on how to protect our information or contact the IRS. In addition to this, they missed several tax filing deadlines without properly requesting extensions, causing significant delays and stress. Even after terminating their services, I discovered they still had control over various departments in my business, resulting in additional fines that I was never informed I needed to address. Throughout this process, I felt completely in the dark about what needed to be done, and the lack of communication only made matters worse. What was even more frustrating was the way the staff handled the situation. Instead of offering help or solutions, they repeatedly reversed blame, making me feel as though I was the one at fault. I’m certainly not an expert in taxes, but I am far from incompetent, and their approach was condescending and unprofessional. While this company may work well for others, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their mismanagement has caused significant damage to both my personal and business finances, including payroll and bookkeeping. Proceed with caution if you choose to work with them.

New company inquiry started pretty well with Susan Lewis responding within the day. However, they booked a physical meeting and then did not follow up on repeated messages. Felt completely ghosted. Very disappointing and wasteful of time. I had high hopes after the first interaction. Giving this two stars because Susan did call initially, else the staff interactions are definitely 1 star.

I had called and left a message with Susan's assistant, to which she followed up with a call back pretty quickly. Seemed like a very nice person. During our conversation, she mentioned that she would have someone call me again to make an appointment for a face to face at a later date. I waited for 3 days with no such call. I called and left a message which was never returned. Then one more time I left a message with a live person who said that the person who made the appointments was out, but again, no call back.

What a great team to work with. Even during busy tax season, we received quick responses to our questions along with excellent guidance and advice. We had hired Susan's team for tax season but enjoyed our experience so much we are working with them year round now.

I do not recommend using Susan Lewis Ltd for your tax filing needs. We have utilized her services and are not satisfied with their customer service or rather, lack there of. I recently called and left a message for a call back as the IRS has sent a letter advising of some issues regarding our return and they NEVER called back. Pretty disappointed considering the amount they charge for their services.
