I went to JCMP early 2024 to file my taxes and Jeff promised to meet deadlines, work proficiently, handle everything and “save me money” but after I gave him a deposit he did nothing. I reached out via email and phone calls and still nothing. I ended up going into the office in person to collect my paperwork and ask for my money back and he said that he would refund a check in the mail and I still haven’t received anything. Definitely don’t recommend, he is not a man of his word.

We are so fortunate to have found JCPM & Associates a few years ago, and it has proven to be the best decision we ever made. Contacted the company, said Jeffrey would call me back. He did, and I submitted information that he requested and we discussed (7/20). Two weeks went by and no further contact. Emailed multiple times... no response. Called his office on 8/1 (Monday 9am) asked if he was in, said no, asked when was he in last, was told last Friday the 29th.... I told them I wanted a call back or I would contact my attorney, he had my personal tax returns. Received a call that evening from Jeffrey. Said he as his daughter have Covid and was the basis for no communication. Completely legitimate reason that I accept. However as a business you can; provide an auto-reply on your email that youre unavailable, provide a response the receptionist can reply with, or have someone to monitor your voicemail and emails to cover for these situations. None were in place. This is an edited response from my initial one, as he has found the time to reach out twice asking me to modify my response. I have and provided more details. Seems like a nice individual but not a way to run a business, as I have my own as well.

My company was in a race against the clock trying to get business accounting tasks completed by a deadline when another company was taking longer than I was willing to wait. Jeffrey Chang and his team stepped in and completed the ENTIRE project in 48 hrs of meeting them (oh yeah and they were willing to fit me in for a meeting the first day I called). Jeffrey, specifically, was knowledgable, patient and comforting every step of the way and earned my respect and trust. Strongly recommend reaching out to him for any accounting task.

Mr. Chang was doing my tax since 2012 and he was always very accurate and everything was done in very timely manner. He even found out my tax mistakes in previous years and helped me to recoup $20,000 in my lost taxes. Awesome CPA and strongly recommend to new businesses!!
