Less than one star. Extremely unprofessional. Called this person up (Len) because my father in law does his taxes over here. I file my taxes at another place but me and my wife, who are newly married, were filing separately this year and she was bringing her taxes here. I introduced myself and asked him what paperwork/information he needed from me to file my wife’s taxes. He responded by saying he needed my ENTIRE tax return. I asked if there were specific parts and wanted clarification as tax returns have a lot of personal information (i.e investments, write offs, etc.) and my tax person only needed my wife’s name and SSN. When I asked him this, he became super defensive and started proclaiming “I don’t need to do your wife’s taxes”, “if you don’t want to give it to me, I don’t need to do it” and “if you don’t give it to me, I won’t do her taxes”. Almost in a threatening tone as if he was trying to prove I needed him more than he needed me. I replied that I have no problem giving the information but wanted some information as to why. He again began his pompous rant about not needing to do my wife’s taxes and that I can take it somewhere else. I then told him that there was no need for the attitude and told him that he was talking to me in a condescending tone of voice. That got him more upset and he hung up the phone, called my father in law (to tell on me), and told him that he was refusing to do my wife’s taxes. Good riddance! Taking my wife’s paperwork to my tax person this Saturday. Easy peasy. Don’t give this guy the time of day, or your business, unless you want to be talked down to. The only other review of this person is an obvious relative so you can’t believe their review. Ridiculous!
