I have hesitated to make this post but we are now at the point where I am owing the IRS $2200 in penalties, because DeMario Black did not file my S Corp in a timely manner. Mr. Black was paid to file my personal taxes as well as taxes for my 2 businesses for 2022. There was a lot of miscommunication and unanswered emails during that time. I would send multiple emails and wouldn't get responses for days. However, the taxes were filed to my knowledge. In January, I received a letter from the IRS stating that my S Corp had not been filed and I was subject to penalties. I reached out to Mr. Black, sending him a copy of the letter and he stated that he'd filed the S Corp but would resubmit. In February, I received another letter from the IRS stating that I owed $2200 for filing the S Corp late. They charge $220 for each month that it is late and they did not receive the form until January. I reached out to Mr. Black again and he stated that I should contact the IRS to request leniency. I asked him to provide proof that the filing was submitted on time and he ignored my request. The IRS has again responded and denied my request for leniency. They are also adding $27 per month in interest to what is owed. I have again reached out to Mr. Black to see how he plans to handle this and he has not responded. There were a number of other issues with his services and he has apologized for his lack of communication and customer service. However, I paid this company to file my taxes properly and that was not done correctly. I will be filing a complaint with the State about Mr. Black and the situation he has put myself and my company in. I am so disappointed and frustrated by this situation. I would not recommend Mr. Black to anyone I know in the future and I would suggest that others stay away from his practice. The fact that I have to pay over $2000 for this is absurd. I am attaching screenshots of our conversations and will be supplying them to the State board.

Regrettably, I am having to give a very poor review. It appears this CPA has taken my money and has no intentions in following through with my taxes. My number has been blocked after asking for a refund due to a lack of communication and a less than user friendly method for data collection. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed as I wanted to support this BOB. Now, since I’m being ignored I will have to fight the charges.

*Do not pay attention to the response Demario has left to this review. His office has not responded to any of my emails. Even to the additional I have left today.* Do not use DeMario. He fraudulently filed a false return for my state taxes, falsified it to show I was getting a refund then secretly routed it through EPS so that he could get a 1500 fee. I am currently initiating litigation against him. He also will not respond to emails or calls, similar to what a previous reviewer said. I am guessing most of the 5 star reviews here are fake.

Dez U I think he did the same thing to me🙄🤔. I just realized it nearly 4 months after my return was processed. Something in my spirit said check your taxes again. The crazy thing is I used him because he was referred by my church! I wont share their name because I love my church and hope this will be addressed immediately. I had to talk to a robot all day when calling the office and still have not received an email or call back yet. I looked this guy up again to see if I overlooked anything. I called myself vetting him. Im originally from Michigan and he attended MSU. We actually have mutual connections. Lol, smh. If he doesnt respond by the time I get my tax transcript from the state of GA (15 days). Im suing and filing a licensure complaint with the state....flat out! 🤷🏾‍♀️

Not sure if this guy can be trusted with your personal information. He has been non responsive by phone or email. Very unprofessional and sneaky. I would not recommend his service at all.
