My husband had been working with this company to file his 2022 taxes before we were married, and didn't have any issues during that time, but his taxes were simple at the time. For our 2023 taxes, it has been a disaster. During my first experience with them, I had reached out about needing to file for my TPT license. It was a month overdue, and I didn't know how to do it by myself. A TPT license is a transaction privilege tax license that small businesses that resell items are required to have. The first red flag for me was that when I tried to schedule an appointment, they called me to schedule at a different time. We discussed a specific time, and when the time came I was waiting in the zoom meeting, except no one was there. I then received an email saying they would not proceed with me being a client due to missing the appointment while I was waiting for someone to show up to the appointment. I let my husband know, and he called. Because he was already a customer, they said I was already a customer and decided to see me during the scheduled time slot. It was a mistake on their end, so I let it go. The second red flag for me, was when I told them I needed to file my TPT and that I was worried because at this point I had mentioned it a couple times, nothing had been done, and I was acquiring fees. She asked me "what is a TPT license so I can point you in the right direction?" That's right, a tax person didn't know what a transaction privilege tax license is. I have a small shop on etsy and I sent them the PDFs etsy provides with everything broken down- taxes, my fees, profits, etc. It is a VERY simple spreadsheet. They said they didn't understand it, and wanted me to re-do it into a ledger, so I did. I am also 1099 contractor and have a LLC for that as well. That LLC was never addressed. I submitted all of the documentation for my 1099 job and waited, but they did not communicate anything. My husband, during this time, was completing his Q4 accounting. He has significantly increased his income over the last year, and as they saw him making more money, they increased his fees for the quarterly accounting. Mind you, he had already paid for the quarterly accounting that was never done until Q4. He asked for his money back, as he should since they did not perform their duties in a timely manner and have cost him thousands of dollars in fees. When he asked for a refund, they said they would reach out to him on monday, but instead of actually speaking with him, they sent an email with a termination of services letter. This company is incredibly unprofessional, and to be honest the worst accounting I have ever had. Unless you have simple taxes that you could literally do by yourself on turbo tax, don't even bother wasting your time with these people.

Absolutely terrible service. No communication, took advantage of lack of knowledge from my end, and misfiled my tax return losing me thousands of dollars. Do not waste your time & money.

0% recommend this business unless you want to be taken advantage of & overcharged. As a first year entrepreneur I came to Nichole asking for guidance & very clearly expressing that I had zero idea what to do with taxes & management - later to find out I was charged the same amount for filing one business that someone else was charged (at a different firm) for 3 businesses. If you’re clueless with taxes save yourself the extra $1,000 they’re going to charge you here & use Turbo Tax, you’ll receive better customer service there.
