I just moved to Florida from Colorado and have hired on Sean Quigley as my cpa. I am extremely impressed by his knowledge and expertise. Our situation is a tricky one, in my eyes, as we run a business out of state, another business in state, and we are new residents. For Sean, this was not a problem. He had all the answers and great advice. It is a relief to find someone who knows what they are talking about and answer all my questions with the best option for our situation!

For a first experience as a newer company, it was not great. Sean is a nice guy, and I am sure an expert in many areas. However, for the purposes of my taxes it was not great. After initial visit there was no contact for over a month. I reached out several times with no answer and no call back until I sent an email stating I would do the taxes myself, upon which I received an immediate response. I then gave then a shot and waited only to get a call from sean telling me I owe the IRS over $2,500 not including their fee of over $900 (which I was told close to $500 for what my taxes would take in time) So I opted to do my own taxes and ended up getting a return back of around $1,500 but still received a bill from sean for the $900 witch I intend to pay but will not use or recommend anyone to them in the future. Again, I am sure he does great work for lots of people, but I do not feel that time was taken to do a complete look over on my tax documents and questions asked for possible tax breaks.
