My husband and I recently moved to Florida and asked friends and neighbors who they used for tax filing and financial guidance. We are diligent consumers and after researching the suggestions we settled on three to consult with on our needs. Although the lot were all well-spoken exuding confidence in their services, there was one standout: Priess King & Co. Cara Priess, the principal and owner, listened. She answered our concerns with deep knowledge and whip-quick expertise. Now as her clients, we can expand more fully on the benefits of being in the financial care and oversight of Cara Priess and Priess King & Co. Our move to Florida presented a complex tax preparation initially. Cara's attention to detail while maintaining big-picture thinking addressed our tax filing for the immediate tax season, but additionally set it up to streamline future ones. Most exceptional is Cara's advanced analytical reasoning to simplify future filings provided us peace of mind we didn't even realize we were missing from previous accountants until we reflected on the well-being her approach provided us. Oh, did we mention in our initial selection process, Cara's office was the least convenient location-wise for us, and yet her responsiveness has proven over and over how worthwhile being in her financial hands is to us. Make note of these multifaceted qualities: Cara's is a warm and thoughtful professional, deeply knowledgeable with complex tax pictures, versed across states, recognizes deadlines, and even when direct talk is called for Cara is non-judgemental. We are thankful for being her client and we rely on Cara's tax expertise - and there's no dollar amount we can put on that !

Reported to board of ethics, cannot provide documentation—would seem that we were billed but she cannot or will not provide the return or proof. The LLC shows inactive, she claims that all required returns were filed. Does not answer the phone or respond to emails, does not respond to communication from new accountant or attorney. Puts phone calls on hold for 1 hour plus rather than respond.

SCAMMING People. May have sold my Birth Certificate to the Black Market. Cara Priess with Priess King & Company claims to offer a "W4 Sandwich" service the public. The W4 Sandwich involves submitting your birth certificate, past tax records, and documents reflecting loan history to the US Treasury in return for "birth right money" or reimbursement of funds from loans. Cara Priess was promising that prospects could retrieve millions of dollars from the US Government with the W4 Sandwich process. Cara set up a call with me to explain the process. She was extremely vague and irritable. I told Cara I had never heard of anyone getting money from a W4 Sandwich or SSN and she said that it was because people who were able to complete the process had to sign a Nondisclosure agreement with the US Government because the Fed did not want people to know about their birthright. She told me she could help me get out of debt and to submit my birth certificate, letters from lenders, and bank statements to her client portal, promising to send them to the US Treasury for processing. Said it could take 6mo - 1 year for them to process. I was skeptical but trusted my friend who referred her so I proceeded. Since January 2023, Cara and almost never respond to my correspondence/inquires online or by phone. They have not provided any documentation showing where my sensitive financial records were sent after I requested that information. Not only are Cara and her team non-responsive but when they do respond they give me ETAs on when they will send me contracts and disclosures on the process that they NEVER follow through on. They always claim to have tech issues when they are unable to furnish documentation or complete follow through of any kind. Lately I have looked at their reviews on Google and BBB and see now that they are often negligent with clients. I want to know what they did with my Birth Certificate and bank and loan information. I feel as though they sold it to immigrants or the black market for ID fraud. I want to know EXACTLY where my records were sent with tracking numbers, addresses, and any and all details of how my sensitive financial records and Us Citizen documentation benefited Cara Priess as well as her firm and associates. I want transparency in their intentions in promising prospects with funds from a W4 sandwich and if their intentions are revealed to be fraudulent, I want people to know to save them the headache of dealing with this company. Their should be repercussions for their fraudulent activity.

My experience with Cara was awful, she never communicated with me, never returned my calls. she held onto my ledgers for 3 month's with no progress. i am a small business if you cant do the work don't take the job.

KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE! Run! Imagine hiring an accountant only to find out they don’t even pay their own bills?! Not only have they been less than honest with me about my money, they flat out lied to a company I do mutual business with…long story short they owe A LOT of businesses. And have since 2021. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!

Excellent and friendly staff! Very helpful! They really know their stuff. They pulled me out of a financial nightmare and I am very thankful. Definitely recommend this firm to anyone who wants it done right the first time!!!
