Used Fosters for my 2022 tax preparation. Given all the positive reviews I was pretty pumped that I would get a effective review; however, the service was basic and very costly. Pro's ~ Was able to submit my 2022 taxes ~ Veteran owned (I'm also a veteran so that's a plus for me) ~Involved and committed Owner Con's ~ Very pricey. The Cost for my tax preparation was 4 fold what I'm used to despite no change in complexity (and that's me coming from Los Angeles). I was ok with the cost but figured it would also cover some tax tips and coaching, which was not the case. ~ Very difficult to get a hold of. I think Fosters is super slammed due to their high customer ratings. It was pretty hard to get Fosters on the phone and we submitted my taxes pretty near the tax cutoff, despite a ~month of preparation (if I remember correctly). ~ The staff, which are very friendly, don't seem to be on the same page with one another. It can be confusing knowing who you're speaking to or if they are familiar with your status. Summary: Foster is a capable and veteran owned tax service. Costs are very high for tax preparation and it can be difficult to get a hold of them. It is my option that Fosters is taking on too much volume, which is preventing them from justifying their price point. These larger volumes are likely a product of popularity gained by their history for good service.

He seemed very knowledgeable and nice. It took a very long time to get our return completed after many phone calls. He was expensive, too. Afterwards, he wouldnt even return our calls. We wont be using him again.

I've spent the last four months trying to work with Foster's accounting, and based on the reviews, was optimistic at first. However, I still do not have answers to the status of my taxes. They have over promised and under delivered. I have given them every opportunity to work with me, but found that I was doing all of the communication. Unfortunately, my experience with this tax advisor was disappointing due to their unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness. Their delayed communication and disinterested demeanor left me feeling unsupported. If you are seeking a reliable and knowledgeable tax advisor, I would caution against choosing this firm. They have demonstrated a lack of professionalism and an inability to meet the standards one would expect in this field.

My wife and I are new residents to Florida and we have had a difficult transition from A long move and knew we faced a challenging Tax season with some unexpected complexities we hadn’t anticipated through selling & buying homes. I was referred to Alfonso by a colleague who is also a client. We had been referred to our accountant back home as well and were very happy with him. We couldn’t have expected to ever be more impressed with anyone else. But we are WOW. From the moment we met his professional team and his disarming nature and high touch level of customer service we knew we found our new Tax professional. We are definitely going too be a client of his and will be referring him to our friends.

Fosters Accounting Services, A 5 - star experience. This was our first time using the firm. My wife and I found them to be fast and efficient. Yet Alfonso and his team spent ample time with us during the intake, insuring 100% accuracy. The experience was very positive and the return was larger then expected. They have a customer for life.

Provided friendly one on one service. Was very easy to call and set up and kept in contact during the entire process of filing my taxes. Ill be a returning customer for sure.
