Jeff helped sort out my taxes that were a complete mess from a different accounting firm. His rates are not the least expensive but the old adage you get what you pay for applies. Would work with him again without hesitation.

so Mr. Shiver filed my taxes wrong. Which I understand that mistakes happen. However when I got the letter in the mail, I immediately sent it in an email to his office, and called them. I talked to the women at the front desk (Dunnellon location) she said she would get the information to him, and that it would be simple because they could fax the info over. Two weeks have gone by, and I havnt heard anything. So I tried calling. For an entire day I could not get ahold of them. I called at least 6 different times that day. Finally got the front desk woman on the phone yesterday morning. She said she would go talk to him. And get back to me. I decided that I wasn’t going to wait because again, two weeks with no communication (and previous issues) didn’t lead me to believe that she would be getting back to me anytime soon. So I drove from Ocala to Dunnellon because she said she would go talk to him. Which to me meant he was in the office. I get there and of course he isn’t there. He’s in Lakeland. So I called the Lakeland office at noon. And left a message with that front desk woman, who said he would be back shortly and would give him the message. At 5:30pm I still didn’t have a call. So I called and got the front desk. She said “oh well he’s currently in a meeting I’ll have him call you as soon as he’s done.” And here we are the next day, he still mad not called, and no one is picking up the phone in Lakeland. I have called 2 times this morning and it just rings. I’m over it. I understand I’m not his only client but it’s been two weeks and I have no clue what’s going on, and the front desk woman in Dunnellon told me what was supposed to happen when I called in two weeks ago. And when I spoke with her yesterday her story changed. And I can never get ahold of Mr. Shiver. They must not understand that this is people’s money. And maybe to them tax refunds aren’t a big deal. And my refund isn’t huge. But it would definitely help with bills.
