I’ve had nothing but issue since Ken Hutto “helped” me setup my LLC in 2022. This is just an example of one I’ve had. I got a final notice from the FL Department of Revenue stating my Q1 2024 RT6 wasn't filled. My payroll service, Gusto, should have filled that for me. I looked on Gusto and it wasn't filled stating "failed multiple attempts". I paid the fine and the amount due. That led me down a rabbit hole. The FEIN on the rt6 from Gusto, on SunBiz and Internal Revenue Service all match, and is correct. On the notice, it had the old FEIN number. In 2022 the name of the Business was changed from Stuart Rutherford PLLC to Semper Insured PLLC. The only reason for the name change was due to Ken Hutto, filing my LLC under my name and not the requested name of the business Semper Insured. They acknowledged the mistake and refilled under the correct name, but since then this has consistently been an issue. I haven’t even attempted to bring this up to Mr. Hutto because they weren’t responsive when I was doing business with them. After I got the notice saying the name was wrong and brought it up to them, they said they would fix it. I called many times and got no response. They only fixed it after I went into the office twice. That mistake has caused me to waste so much time and now a decent amount of money. Thank you very much for your assistance Ken! I was recommended to him by some big money clients and I’ve made sure to recommend that they look elsewhere for service.

I went to Hutto & Associates upon being referred by a client. I am a small business owner. Ken has now taken care of my personal and business taxes for the past 3 years and I couldn't be happier. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and have done a great job for me.

Ken Hutto has taken care of my parents interests for a very long time. He pays attention to detail and he can be relied on to do a thorough and professional job. He is humble and fair in all of his practice. Fantastic work ethic and great moral character sums up Mr. Hutto. Thank you Ken for all that you do.

I was recommended to Hutto. I made the appointment and gave a very detailed binder to Georgianna Whyte this was May 2022. Today April 5, 2023 I called to see if I could pick up the binder with 20 yrs of tax info. I called several times, spoke to whom ever answered their phone, left messages for Georgianna to call me back. I received one call from Georgianna. They did absolutely nothing, with the business taxes. I’m not even sure why I paid them up front to receive no services. I called today to see if I could pick up the binder, the gentleman said yes and it would be at the front desk. I spoke to the young lady and all she had to say she was out on maternity leave and that Georgianna had a client so she wasn’t available. Anyone wanting to use this firm don’t waste your money or time for a 6” binder to sit on a shelve in someone office. Thanks but no thanks.

I’m updating my review to 1 star, and here’s my reason… Mr. Hutto is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what he’s doing… but he is soooo unorganised and never available 😅… I understand that in his line of work, things become extremely busy, but he needs to expand his staff or close the business to new clients temporarily until he can make genuine time for new clients*…. With the knowledge and understanding of his line of work, this man has no earthly need to worry about clients/money running out if he were to close for a short time to take care of his current clients… it’s when you fail a new clients by putting them on the back burner for months and then becoming rude/guilt tripping through email/text message that is bad for business 😬👎🏽… I started to give 2 stars, but after going to a bookkeeper that solved my tax issues in less than one hour, I have to give one star for complete lack of compassion, care, communication, and unorganisation… he even had the audacity to tell me at the beginning of my almost one year wait on the back burner that if I stuck with him and didn’t go elsewhere for help, that he would not only straighten out my house taxes… he would do my yearly taxes and make sure I got back the maximum for taxes as a single mother, all the while knowing he never intended on helping me with anything let alone taking even 3 mins out of his day to CALL me personally and let me know that he would be too busy to provide (less than an hour of) services*… at times I still wondered how excellent his services could be because of how well he had taken care of his referring client in the past.. but things even fell apart with him for the client that referred him to me!! I think I’ve heard enough horror stories, along with my personal experience, of Hutto taking advantage of the time and desperation of vulnerable clients that came to him for help because they didn’t know or understand what they were doing with their taxes and business issues to keep that wonder a complete mystery… hopefully in the future Mr. Hutto is able to get himself together and run his business at it’s greatest potential, because I’m confident that he was made for excellence 🤎.. but for now I just can’t recommend him to friends/loved ones 🥹👎🏽… It’s going to be one star ⭐️ from me!

If you remember Vince turner he was my dearest father im his youngest daughter Scarlett I'm 13 I'll be 14 in october, my father sadly passed away before Valentines day 2021 and i will always remember his wonderful boss Ken Hutto and his other bosses, they both were incredible and he always brought me and my younger brother Thomas to this office and it was always fun to go in the back room and hang out. I will always remember everybody who works there and my dad would be so proud knowing that he worked there, and me still knowing them. So please keep going on this journey it may be hard but you got this . -Scarlett Turner 2021

Total unprofessional. After making an appointment with the team and letting them know my needs, I was told to send some documents over and also my QuickBooks information. After a couple of days without knowing if my information was received because I didn't get back a receipt that email was read I stopped in the office to verify that everything was received plus my Quickbooks admin invite. After leaving a day later I get this from Ken Jorge, this is a very busy office and we line our work out accordingly. We check our emails the following day. It would be unfair to the clients that we're currently working on to depart our attention to emails when we should be working on their work. I'm going to review the information I have and make sure I give you a price and you're okay with it before we accept the invite and then we can talk about time frames to make sure you're okay with the time frames that we would have to operate under. Ken After several emails going back in forth and not knowing if my information was looked over nor price for his services I get this email. No one cares about small business more than we do. We have created hundreds of testimonials. You will never find the resume/fee we offer. I have looked at your financials. You do need help on many different levels. I was merely responding on my holiday that we receive clients confidential information on a daily basis and I protect that information at Great expense. However, we do not have the time to respond to each email when received which is what I was trying to communicate to you. Based on your response, I will be frank and let you know that I don't think we would be a good fit for each other. I you would like to speak to me personally, please call me Tuesday after 11am. Ken All I wanted to know if my sensitive information was received and hire a local business to take care of my needs. I think he does care about his clients who pay lots of money and not small business as he stated. If you are a small business do not waste your time and look for someone else. I have never made a review personally or as a business owner. He fired the client before becoming a client. I am shocked and left speechless.

Ive been having my taxes done here for decades. They have always treated me great and given me great service. When I had an issue with the IRS they helped me through it. My parents have their taxes done here too. Great people.
