Gina, in my opinion, you helped my ex husband, an attorney in Osceola county, “saved thousands of dollars” doing his taxes in a way I don’t consider appropriate. She did my taxes twice and I had to hire a real professional to fix your bad work. You left a nice review for my ex husband on Google calling me angry wife. You better watch your words because the one sued for defamation and harassment may be you. I know my ex husband is regretting right now for letting you do his taxes, I did reported his law firm, his staff and I believe you maybe be included. Hope the IRS will investigate and everyone knows they will. If you are upset because I did the right thing reporting, in my opinion, illegal activities, well that’s on you. Good luck DONT hire this person, you will regret it. DONT USE THIS PLATFORM IF YOU DONT LIKE HONEST REVIEWS FOR YOUR, in my opinion, DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL WORK. I AM HAPPILY DIVORCED and very clean in front of the IRS. My new accountant fixed your errors. I am a good honest citizen and didn’t hesitate to report and show evidence of an illicit situation!!!!! Your answer only shows your lack of professionalism. My divorce has nothing to do with your inability to do the right and legal work.

i love Gina Byrd & Derrick, they are a very kind accounting firm and they are family friendly people and Derrick Oehler is very attentive and well mannered and a respectful accountant. Thank you for helping me with me and my families taxes

I wish I could say something good about my experience. The fact I have to give them even 1 star is unnerving. My experience with Rick has been nothing short of missed deadlines, late fees, misleading information , excuses and a serious lack of communication. I would never treat my clients in the same manner in which I have been treated. I can see from the past reviews I am not the only one. I emailed the firm to give them a chance to do the right thing. While I did receive a reply, I have not yet received the information I was supposed to receive. We have not received 1099's for our independent contractors, which is past due now. I was told our quarterly filings were filed weeks ago and found it was not the case. I am expecting another late fee for this. They did not even address the direct lies and misleading information provided by Rick. In fact, they gave excuses for him. No apology just more excuses for his behavior. I would steer clear from any dealings with this firm. There is no accountability and the lack of care and diligence for their clients is disturbing. ****The response given is what I would expect. I never once asked for a discounted rate. All I asked for was service in a timely manner. I never once asked for anything immediately unless the deadline was fast approaching or the deadline had passed and I was fined for their negligence. This would be after multiple promises to have it in a few minutes or very soon. Instead of addressing the issues they try to make me feel stupid because I’m not fluent in taxes. In fact, I am not fluent and hired Rick as a professional to do them because I am a layman in respect to taxes. Bottom line is that things weren’t done. I reached out multiple times. I raised concerns and was lied to by Rick and now they are doing damage control with the reviews instead of taking care of the true issue.

tried to email Rick who is dealing with my FIRPTA withholding many times without reply ..I have reported this to Gina and Derrick also and still no reply ..I see from other reviews that I am not the only one with this problem..what is going on ….unfortunately being in the UK I cannot turn up at he office…

Absolute Nightmare. Please stay away from them. They have been charging me monthly for several companies for my accounting and filing. Every single appointment since last year was missed, which caused us to be delinquent on our taxes, penalized and had to pay a lot of money to an actual professional get things fixed. They do not return calls or emails and have not issued refunds for services not rendered to us. In my 18 years of being in business, I have never come across someone as unprofessional as them.
