AFSG has been preparing my taxes for well over a decade, guiding me through the tax laws as an independent contractor, as well as being a W2'd employee. I can call anytime to get previous tax filings within minutes of my request. There is a reason I live in Ohio but continue to use AFSG as my go-to when I need anything tax related. The associates are top notch and services are very reasonable. I would recommend this company to any friend, family member or colleague!

Unfortunately myself and many others I referred had a very negative experience working with this firm. The worst part is They refuse to give accounting records back to customers (3 different referrals I sent them they refuse to give records back). Very unprofessional. Also, you will have to hire someone else to watch every accounting move they make, they make sooo many mistakes. They will tell you they can do a lot of task that they simply are not good at. Stay far far far away from this firm!

I've used Lauryn and AFSG for many years and have never been disappointed. Fees are very fair, they are responsive and professional. Lauryn is the most knowledgeable of all accountants we've used in the past. So appreciative of the extra time and effort she has given.

Do not hire Lauryn as your accountant, you will be in for endless headaches! Lauryn really sells herself on zoom calls but does not deliver once you are a client. Her lack of responsiveness is something I have never encountered with any accountant I have worked with previously. She never answers the phone or returns messages and the same goes for emails. We made the mistake of creating a PA with her as well as filling for a Covid grant through her and she insisted that we overnight her all our documents so we could get our file submitted ASAP. I agreed with the understanding that she would mail back our documents as they were the only copies of all our previous taxes we had. I can't tell you how many times I have asked for those documents back and months later I have nothing even though she has told me multiple times she would send them. I had to pay an additional $200 to get the documents from my old accountant b/c she would not send them. She couldn't be trusted to do something as simple as placing papers in an envelope and mailing them. And the grant that she says she filed for us, not only did we get zero confirmation from her office that she even did it but we also got no money or word from the gov. Looking back now I doubt she even filed it for us. As far as the PA, for every little thing I had to follow up with her endlessly for her to take action on things. Something that should have been quick and easy and handled in a few days took weeks because of her lack of response and follow through. She just passes things off to assistance who don't have the proper information and really can't help or she does nothing at all and lets your file just sit there. We were going to use her for our business taxes every year but after seeing what a nightmare she is to work with we have hired another accountant. Accountants are supposed to make your life easier, not add to the stress of tax like she does. Steer clear of her and her office!
