My husband and I have been going to Lance for years. He has helped us through so many new and changing situations as I struggle my way through fighting a neurological disability. He has ALWAYS been calm, resourceful, kind, knowledgeable on the ever changing tax laws and most importantly, respectful to me and my limitations. He has helped my husband start 2 businesses neither of us had any experience in. Lance made the process seemless with his calm demeanor. I tried taking on the job of bookkeeping (which I struggle with due to my limitations) and he spent alot of time with me, walked me through Quickbooks, he even found a teacher for me. When I still struggled, he offered to take over that part of the business for us for which I am so grateful for. He has been a STRONG mentor to us. He has gone above and beyond not just the financial aspect but has given us recommendations for business related resources we needed when we didn't know which way to turn. It's very hard to start a new business venture when you've always worked as an employee. With Lance by our side, we have a GREAT ally and are more appreciative of him then I can write in just a review. I recommend him 1000%.

I called this year to ask for my last years AGI and lance informed me he wasn’t going to give me for I wanted to file separate and married. He than proceeded and called my soon ex and informed him of my soon future file.

I have worked with dozens of accountants and Lance is one of the best. He is responsive, creative, and intelligent. He also charges a fair price, esp. in light of his vast experience. Lance has been influential in helping both my business and my personal finances. Highly recommend!

My fiance and I run a small but very quickly growing business in Connecticut. We've been working with Lance Ziaks for a little over 2 years now I believe, and he's been instrumental in our company's continued success. Lance is kind, personable, honest, understanding, and frankly brilliant when it comes to helping small business. Our company outgrew our book keeping system at the beginning of last year, and Lance was quick to jump in to help us set everything straight. Needless to say, there was a lot we were lucky to learn from his experience, and he's been absolutely great ever since we began working together. I can honestly say I don't think we'd be able to keep up with everything as we have without Lance's help. I decided to write this review today, after Lance stayed late "just in case" we had questions during our last-minute tax prep. My fiance called after hours to leave a message, since she had one last question, and sure enough Lance picked up & helped her through it. He stayed late with a family at home, to ensure OUR family wouldn't have late taxes. If you own a small business in CT and are looking for an excellent accountant who really cares, PLEASE give Lance a call. You won't regret it!
