My experience working with Mandy McGowan and Elevated Profits has been transformative for both me and my business, Berry Interesting Productions. I initially met Mandy through PolkaDot Powerhouse, and engaged her for a Financial Coaching package. The experience of working with her as a coach has helped me gain vital insights into my business's financial health as well as into how my own personality and experiences have shaped my approach to managing my business finances. Mandy’s coaching was empowering and supportive - and established a high level of trust between us - which made transitioning our business's bookkeeping into Elevated Profits' care an easy decision. Mandy’s approach is both empathetic and professional. She and her team understand the pressures I face as a business owner, offering grace and patience when I make mistakes or need extra support. They ensure I truly understand the financial deliverables and processes they manage, even creating helpful how-to videos to streamline tasks that I still do handle myself (like invoicing in Quickbooks). Elevated Profits has significantly impacted my business, as well as my own job satisfaction. The EP team’s monthly financial reporting gives me clarity each month, provides accountability (which is often hard to come by as a business owner!), and on average saves me at least 8 hours per month that can instead be devoted to business growth and management. I can now confidently plan for the future, make strategic decisions, and measure my progress toward profitability. Mandy’s unique blend of coaching and bookkeeping services creates a foundation of trust, giving her clients both practical tools and peace of mind. Mandy is a phenomenal business finance coach. I was lost when it came to business budgeting, assessments, goal setting, tracking and putting together a profit and loss for my CPA. With Mandy’s help, I’ve mastered the business finance basics. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. She not only provided coaching, but also high-quality resources (i.e. P+L outline, budgeting sheet, revenue tracker, etc) for me to utilize successfully embody my CFO role in my small business. Thanks to her, my work stress was reduced and I’ve been able to increase my revenue + profitability. Amanda is friendly but unfortunately our taxes were done poorly. According to our new and more experienced tax preparer our 2020 amended return had more errors than originally thought. An vehicle expense error by Elevating Profits did cost us more in taxes BUT it was also discovered that Elevating profits never gave us credit for the 2020 Unemployment Tax Exemption and that ended up being more than the tax due so we will actually get a federal REFUND. Unfortunately, CO did not have an unemployment exemption, so we owe the state. I am very dissapointed in this company. If this company worked on your taxes I suggest getting a good CPA to review your taxes.
