Awful experience! I asked her to file one paper that the Dept of Revenue asked for to correct her mistake. She refused and charged me for talking to her on the phone about her mistake. Horrible customer service!!

Terrible experience! Her assistant contacted me at 3:55pm on April 15th to let me know I needed to pay the amount owed to the IRS by end of business that day. (I was at a track meet in Denver) And also that Jenny would be filing an extension. I expressed that I was unhappy about the incredibly short notice and why would I need an extension, my taxes are not complicated and I submitted everything on time - I received a "sorry for the inconvenience". When she reached out and my taxes were finally complete in September, I again expressed I was unhappy, this time to Jenny, she completely ignored. I heard back from the State and was required to submit more information, holding my breath to see if Federal were done correctly. Very disappointed.

Jenny is very professional and knowledgeable and has very reasonable rates. She has been my CPA for several years and I am very happy with her services.

I was her client of five years and was surprised this last time by a bill for me asking her by email about money due to the IRS on taxes that she completed. I was charged $100/hr for her having to look at the issue and email me back telling me it was my fault and I should pay it. After telling her I was surprised by the bill and would have just paid the IRS first instead of her charging me to just tell me to pay them, she emailed me back with a very condescending tone to basically say any and all issues are and always have been my fault and at the end she patronized me by telling me not to call her "Jen" because her name is "Jenny." Can you believe that??? Apparently by other reviews I'm not the only one that feels treated this way by her. You would think multiple negative reviews would make her take an empathetic approach instead of a condescending one, or maybe she wants a negative reputation???...

Terrible customer service. Her office never called me. Was originally told that my returns would be completed in about 2 weeks. After 3 1/2 weeks, the tax deadline was coming up and I called. Was told that they were filing for an extension, although they had not notified me of this. After waiting another month, I called and was told 2 more weeks. After 2 more weeks, I called and was told another 2 weeks. Called again after 2 weeks and was told it would definitely would be done in 2 more weeks, so it took 3 months! When submitting my efile signatures, I asked for a call or email when efiled. Never got that either. Will have to find a CPA who actually communicates with me.

Terrible Experience - It took her literally 5 months to do a basic personal income tax form, despite her office staff telling me it would be "just a few weeks" after the tax deadline, and we met in January. I e-mailed to follow up and ask questions several times with extremely poor response time and no follow up to the questions I asked. When I went to pick up my returns, she couldn't be bothered to come and talk to me. Instead her office staff relayed questions to her. I left without the basic services I had asked for having been provided. I now am left to pay someone else to help me as "they didn't know" how to answer the questions I had - despite the fact that we spoke in detail when we met, and I sent 2 follow up e-mails letting her know what questions I had. My experience was a total and compete disaster. Do NOT recommend.

Jenny Baker came highly recommended by Edward Jones. The entire experience from beginning to end has been less than ideal. She lacks customer service, poor response time and lead time to our taxes. We submitted our tax info promptly to her agency well before due date and she was still late, even after she had file for extension--- basically, waiting until the very last minute to do our taxes which made us nervous and created more confusion to our taxes - - which she denies and instead of consulting us (poor communications), she proceeded to threaten to charge us another $100 to fix a technical error that they made, after taking $250 from us. If she was prompt with her communications and showed that she cared, then I wouldn't be here writing this. Use H&R Block, I think you'll pay less and get a descent customer service. I spoke to Jenny personally to get an apology but no way, not her, because customer service for her does not exist in her book and she does not and will not admit fault-- I don't know what it means to be 16th generation Longmonsters but she is rude, inconsiderate on the phone and kind of a narcissistic-elitist... so far that is what I got. Use her IF you, don't want your taxes done on-time, if you want to be ripped off and if you like to be disappointed. They get 1 star for their accommodating receptionist, Tyson.

Jenny is very kind and professional. She does thorough work. If I have a tax question, her response always gives me better clarity and actually makes sense on a level I can understand . She is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. She was highly recommended by my previous CPA when he moved away. He was right! Jenny Baker is a great CPA.
