I appreciate Luisa and Patron Tax for being knowledgeable and helpful in processing my taxes. For the past few years I was using self-service websites. However, this year my tax situation was a bit more complicated with multiple W-2 and a cashed out retirement. This led to a situation where I was not familiar with certain questions the DIY software asked and was left with a large amount due to the IRS. I needed a second opinion rather than accepting the amount due. After reaching out to Luisa at Patron Tax, I explained my situation and she reviewed my documentation. Thankfully with her expert knowledge I am actually receiving a nice refund. From this experience I realized the importance of consulting with a professional that uses a professional software.
