Did my 2019 tax return inaccurately, and now I have to pay back the IRS and FTB thousand of dollars back. Such a headache.

I have been using Young & Associates for over a decade. They are a bit more expensive than average CPA, but they offer a greater value going far beyond preparing the tax package. They are knowledgeable and always available to clarify complicated tax issues, giving honest financial advice.

Sadly after years of service, my annual tax filing cheque has been cashed by this company, but no tax returns for the year in question have yet been completed, or even sent to me for review. Jeannine Young and Associates are completely ignoring all emails and correspondence while I try to find out if they have actually completed the tax returns or not. If this review actually gets them to get in touch, then this will be a very positive turn of events. I hope this doesn't happen to any other long term clients of theirs.

this is the first time i have ever written a review. i saw the other review and felt compelled to respond and defend. Jeannine has been my CPA for several years. she and her staff are top shelve in all respects. professional, responsive and knowledgeable. i highly recommend them to any business or individual.

Horrible. Unorganized and ineffective. Over promised and didn't deliver a thing. After 4 months with my paperwork they never had the time to set me up or even return phone calls. Not one billable hour of effort on their part. After I repeatedly chased after them and they promised I was next they completely blew me off. Clearly they are understaffed based on the shabby state of their office with file boxes up around their ears. I would never recommend them as accountants.
