As always, was back to Sanjiv Gupta, CPA, in particular, Kalpana Vanga for our annual 2023 Joint US Tax Return filing. Once the details of our AY2024-25 Indian Tax information & documents along with the US Tax information & documents were forwarded to her, its just about over, preparing the Draft Returns, Federal and CA, jointly reviewing with her the Draft and signing the Efiling Authorization Forms, all within a few days. I have been using Sanjiv Gupta, CPAs services, to prepare and file our Joint US Tax Returns, since 2017. I would continue to stay with Sanjiv Gupta CPA, to file our US Tax Returns.

I am a small business and over the last two years I have struggled to find a good tax CPA. I have worked with tax CPAs in the past that are not responsive and I am the one hounding them and asking questions to find the right deductions for my business. With Kalpana at Sanjiv CPA, it was the exact opposite. And that was such a refreshing feeling as Kalpana was always available, communicated regularly, asked the right questions, served reminders and the list goes on. It was one less thing for me to worry about and I could focus on running my business. At the same time, she educated me on various tax deductions that my previous tax CPA had not told me about. I have used Sanjeev Gupta's firm for the first time for my 2023 taxes. I had some India transactions & investments, and I could see that my previous CPA was not able to handle the depth of it. In Sanjeev Gupta's Pleasanton office I worked closely with Kalpana. Not only was she detailed and thorough in handling all aspects of 2023 taxes, she was also able to identify a few things in previous year's returns which helped me save some money and amend some inaccuracies. I also had several K-1's from USA investments that they had no problem taking care of. All in all I feel my returns were done very thoroughly and professionally. Will use them again!
