Something is wrong with this place. Either they have discrimination against LGBTQ people or they really have no sufficient knowledge about their work at all. I would strongly recommend you avoid this place and find some more decent accountant elsewhere. Being an IRS authorized agent, Sonny has no idea that on the federal level, same-sex marriage has been approved. He denied my service given that me(as a he) and my husband want to file together as a married couple(which we are here in CA) with the reason that we are only domestic partners rather than married spouse on the federal level. This is beyond absurd.
