As much as I loved the people we worked with prior to Protea, in Bookkeeping working with a sole practitioner can be a single point of failure. Any emergency in their lives means there is nobody to do your books so finding the right firm is critical to running a successful wine business! Luckily someone I trust recommended Protea. Their outstanding team works fast, has the soft skills needed in this business, and their efficiency and attention to detail mean I can relax and do what I love. And, my monthly bookkeeping costs have not increased at all. I am working with a firm that delivers a great product at a reasonable price. An added benefit: I now have less frustration, less stress, and my books are always current. If you want to spend your time doing what you do best, let the experts at Protea give you the luxury of not having to think about your books.

When our wine company was a few years old, we needed to level-up our financial reporting and to get everything "bank ready" so we would have options going forward. We needed a financial accounting firm who knew our industry from an accounting perspective, had a ton of experience, and had a track record of many happy customers. Protea was referred to us by three separate parties that we trusted, and they were our choice. They are high-functioning problem solvers who are detailed, committed to their work, reliable, and highly organized. I love working with them and they've helped us immensely.

Protea Financial is responsive, affordable and absolutely lovely to work with. I always receive my customized monthly reports in a timely manner which give me the real-time financial information I need to navigate these challenging times with confidence. I can’t say enough good things about their knowledge, capabilities, responsiveness, and professionalism, and I can’t imagine operating my business without Protea Financial in my corner.

We switched CPAs in 2019 and part of that switch was getting true expertise to streamline our bookkeeping. After talking with Zane, it was an easy decision to go with Protea. They are very thorough in their attention to detail, a pleasure to work with and have gone above and beyond, even with the "other" tasks that they manage for me. They really are a dream team to work with and have taken so much off of my plate. I am forever grateful for Zane and his team.
