*Please note that the review that you see a few comments down that's written by "Rudy and Virginia Perez" is from the OWNERS of American Bookkeeping. Of course, they've given themselves a "5 Star Rating". I would like for them to reply to those who have posted on here looking for answers as to why they claimed to have filed extensions for paying customers without actually providing the service.* To those who are wondering what happened to Rudy. I have the same question. I asked to have my taxes filed with an extension back in 2017. I received an email from them (and still have the email) where they told me it was extended. I called the IRS and it was NOT. Once I called them on it they stopped communicating with me. I had been going to Rudy for a long time. Thankfully, I hired a tax attorney for assistance. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore. They have someone else other than "Rudy" doing the taxes. Run for the hills from this place.

Over 20 years the only way u could get too him After April is via email this is not a year around gigg for him due too the fact that's hes retired but very good @ what he does

Rudy ghosted us after filing an extension on 4-15-22 because he was overwhelmed. Can not get ahold of him. Does anyone know if something happen to him?

Our whole family has been working with American Bookkeeping Co. for over 20 years, it's a great play to do our income taxes the service is amazing, when you sit down with Rudy Perez to review documents he is very patient and explains everything in detail, he never make us feel rush, we have recommend many family and friends and everyone that has use his service has walked away satisfied and willing to give him referrals. great service, great customer service.

My family has been going to Rudy for income tax services for almost 30 years. Nobody has ever been audited. He always maximizes our returns within what is ethical and honest. His rates are reasonable considering the work he does. Highly recommended.
