New business owner, inquiring about bookkeeping services. Initial consultation was with Mark who was prompt, practical, and polite. Mark provided me with outstanding realistic advice and guided me the correct way in approaching bookkeeping as a business owner. A fair recommendation is to at least understand how bookkeeping works for at least 1-2 months before deciding you need to seek a professional. Mark did not exhibit any predatory tactics and genuinely looked out for me, explaining what he thought was best for me during my current stage of opening my business. This review is about my experience with David from Irvine Bookkeeping. I went into looking for a bookkeeper to take over some of the issues and concerns I had on a business I co-own because I had specific things to review. I was ready to go in looking for a full time bookkeeping service, and I was glad that David was responsive and took his time to understand my business before committing to a proposal. Initially, because I had asked, he provided a quote for the full bookkeeping service; however, upon further discussions and understanding my business responsibilities, he recommended that I don't go the full bookkeeping service route since the needs of the business only really require a consultation-based approach. This would have saved me a lot of money. The basic idea is if you are looking for an honest bookkeeping company that's supportive of your business, look no further than to talk to Irvine Bookkeeping. They provide excellent service and are transparent and honest in their recommendations.
