Roy Holmes Tax Service is A okay in my book. He has been my tax preparer for many moons and I whole heartedly trust him. He always has my best interest at heart and I highly recommend him to anyone requiring tax service. Last year I allowed my brother-in-law to do my taxes as he is an accountant and prepares taxes on the side. Let's just say, I miss Roy Holmes and will be sending him my documents this year.

Roy was okay in the beginning, requested all the correct information, I emailed him requesting prices, information, etc. However, I checked in the other day as to see what had been left with the taxes, he said he did not receive the email(s) I proceeded to forward them to him today. After back and forth, of requesting he file with them within the extension time (October 15th), he did not say he would file them, just three worded emails; after requesting he still file them within the extension time he said, "last response ....... i do NOT have any tax information from you and no time for the endless emails!" I proceeded to send screenshots of both emails, one with the tax information, my W9 attached, and his confirmation that he received it. However after doing so he blocked my email. I have worked in customer service for many years, and even if I have gotten something incorrect or the information did not go through properly I have never treated anyone this way. I originally went to Roy as a friend recommended him to me, and I recommended him to other friends I have in the area, after today I will be taking back such recommendations. I have attached the confirmation of received W9, I would attach the original however it does have sensitive account information. *Edit: Roy responded saying he received documents and I sent screenshots of the documents sent in the thread. I absolutely love getting my taxes done every year because of Roy Holmes. He makes sure he gets me every cent I can and I trust him. Such a nice gentleman and I highly recommend him to anyone who has questions about taxes and such. Thank you Roy. I will see you next year!!
