The most undependable fabricated professional I have ever had the experience of dealing with. If it is important to maintain current and accurate tax returns, I would recommend a different actual professional firm other than Hanlon. A CPA should be a reliable professional individual and this firm is not in that category. I should have used a different firm for our company's corporate tax return. This firm waited until it was too late to make any decisions in reference to my tax returns to inform me that they could not do the taxes. I didnt have the opportunity to make any decisions with the company tax return before the extended deadline. They waited until AFTER the deadline to let me know that they couldnt do them. I should sue for damages. If I could select "no stars" I would do so.

I have never had an issue with this company, but recently the person that always did my taxes left and now its been a month and I have not even got my taxes back to sign. I realize due to covid, things are different than normal. It is a simple return. W-2 employee with a home. Nothing fancy, no receipts. It usually took a week (if that) to get my taxes back to sign. I gave it extra time due to circumstances. I reached out 2 weeks ago, as I had not heard a word from them, and I was told I would have it back early last week. I am still waiting and once again havent heard a word about it. Poor communication and seems to be understaffed.

I am so disappointed in this company. I have seriously debated filing a lawsuit. Not only did it take almost 2 months to do a simple 10 min tax return, but they had to redo it 3 times due to mistakes. I was also informed wrong information (which another employee there told me was completely incorrect) which in turn caused my taxes to be $1900 short of what it was supposed to be. THEN I was told I would have to pay them again to have an amendment to my taxes when they are the ones that made the mistake. If you want to lose thousands of dollars, then this is the place for you.. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and have someone else do your taxes. My 12 year old son would be a better option than this place. HORRIBLE COMPANY
