Horrible service. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS - THEIR FIRM AND INDIVIDUAL LICENSES APPEAR TO BE REVOKED. We used Tiensvold Shaffer Wenzel ("TSW") CPAs for our 2021 and 2022 taxes. Their substantive service was satisfactory, but responsiveness severely lacking. This is relevant for our experience in having them do (or not do) our 2023 taxes. 2023 came and went, with us having moved cities while still remaining in Arizona. I called TSW in February 2024 to seek their assistance in doing our 2023 taxes. I was assured that they could assist us with our 2023 taxes and that they would send the tax organizer for us to complete and send back. They sent it and I completed it well in advance of tax day (April 15, 2024). Prior to my mailing the tax organizer back to their office I called again to seek assurance that they would still be able to assist us with our taxes. They assured me they could. I mailed the organizer back. Throughout the weeks prior to tax day I called and emailed in an attempt to get an update on complete of our taxes to no avail. I next heard from them on April 22, 2024, with a receptionist saying "uh, I don't know what's going on, I'm new here but I will ask Anne." I never heard back afterwards despite calling and emailing several times. I still don't know what, if anything, they did with our 2023 taxes. Even more egregious is the fact that they have been disciplined several times by the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and appear to have had their firm license revoked late 2023 and all individual licenses not active. It is unclear why they would be assuring people they can do their 2023 taxes as of February 2024.
